15 Air India flats up for sale; Bandra one costliest

Last month, Air India had tried to auction some its properties located in Malabar Hill, Bandra and Malad. The auction was carried out by a government run agency MSTC India. However, not a single flat was sold then.

After a failed attempt at trying to sell some of its properties in Mumbai last month, Air India has once again put 15 flats on sale. The flats are located in Cuffe Parade, Khar, Bandra and Malad. The most expensive flat is located in Bandra. priced at Rs 7.40 crore, while the cheapest is in Malad, priced at Rs 85 lakh. The sale will start on July 27 and end on July 28.

Last month, Air India had tried to auction some its properties located in Malabar Hill, Bandra and Malad. The auction was carried out by a government run agency MSTC India. However, not a single flat was sold then.

After that, Air India has again decided to try its luck and has put 15 properties on sale. The flats are in Jupiter building of Cuffe Parade, Cozihom in Pali Hill Bandra, Twin Star in Cuffe Parade, and the other properties are in Khar and Malad.

The Mala? flats are being sold at a rate even lower than the market rate. Even in the last auction, the rates were lower for many of the flats when compared to the prevalent market rates. However, they still did not find any takers.

The earnest money deposit for all the flats are to be paid before July 24, and anyone can participate in the sale proceedings. The auction takes place over a period of 24 hours and is carried out online. The last day for inspection of the flats is July 26 .

Air India spokesperson remained unavailable for comment.
