RPG Group firm KEC International wins new orders worth Rs 1,041 crore

In transmission and distribution business, the company has secured orders in India, Africa and America amounting to Rs 933 crore, KEC International said in a BSE filing.

RPG Group firm KEC International has bagged orders worth Rs 1,041 crore from both domestic and international markets.

"The company has secured new orders of Rs 1,041 crore... In transmission and distribution business, the company has secured orders in India, Africa and the America amounting to Rs 933 crore. In cable business, the company has secured orders of Rs 108 crore," KEC International said in a BSE filing.

KEC International said in the domestic market, it has received orders worth Rs 246 crore from Power Grid Corporation of India for the construction of transmission lines in various parts of India and an order worth Rs 83 crore from West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company for the construction of transmission lines.

In the international market, the company has received orders worth Rs 404 crore and Rs 200 crore.

At 1422 hours, the shares of KEC International were trading up 2.12% or Rs 2.50 at Rs 120.70 per scrip on the BSE.
