Hyundai sales up 5% in July

Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) on Saturday reported 5% increase in total sales at 50,408 units in July.

The company had sold 48,014 units in the same month last year, HMIL said in a statement.

In the domestic market, Hyundai sold 36,500 units last month as compared with 29,275 units in July 2014, up 24.7%.

However, the company's exports declined 25.8% to 13,908 units as against 18,739 units in the same period last year.
