Amazon becomes highest recruiter at IIM Ahmedabad this year

The final placement process for the class of 2017 of the Post Graduate Programme (PGP) in Management in IIM Ahmedabad is over and Amazon has turned out to be the highest recruiter, reported Economic Times. Amazon has offered jobs to 18 students.

More than 100 firms participated in the placement process in 2017, with 40 of them being new ones. 

McKinsey & Company made 15 offers, Goldman Sachs made 9 offers, Samsung made 6 offers and with 10 offers, TAS was the largest recruiter in the General Management cohort. Besides these, there were many other companies like Procter & Gamble, SC Johnson, Nestle, Mahindra & Mahindra which were part of the of the hiring process.

Seven students opted out of the placement process, this year, to work on their own ventures.
