As much as 80 per cent of homes seekers rely on online property sites to find leads and information related to the homes they are interested in, a survey has revealed.

According to a study conducted by OLX and Kantar TNS with more than 600 respondents in Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Thiruvananthapuram, almost four out of five people rely on property portals.

Almost 50 per cent said that online property platforms were their primary source for information and leads, while nearly 70 per cent of the people relied on word-of-mouth sources, and 44 per cent on brokers.

"In an unprecedented age of TV drama, we believe we can connect with audiences who are hungry for nuanced storytelling," Zee Entertainment Enterprises Domestic Broadcast Business CEO Punit Misra said.

He said the demand for English content will grow and the genre will keep getting more traction.

Zee Café  enjoys a 26 per cent market share in the English cluster.

"We are delighted that Zee Café is bringing BBC First to India, which will bring the best of British creativity to an appreciative audience. BBC First has been very successful in countries where it has already launched across Australia, the Middle East, Europe and Asia. We look forward to connecting with Indian audiences who know and enjoy premium drama," BBC Worldwide Director Global Brands and Content Marketing Julia Kenyon said.

The channel will air 11 shows from BBC Worldwide this year and the partnership will be for two years initially.
