Designer diaries: Salman's ordeal is over...

Thank God Salman and his family's ordeal is over. Salman breathes free, as does his sister Alvira who has been his pillar of strength. Thirteen long years she stood by him like the rock.

She and I, along with Salman's manager Reshma went on a short trip to Amritsar and Golden Temple to offer a prayer of thanks. Back in Mumbai, at the Bandra gym fair, I met several people like Anna Bredmeyer, the beauty queen who blew my mind away 25 years ago when I did an ad campaign with her and the ageless beauty Coleen khan. I got a lot of Bombay Duck (thank God they didn't change that to Mumbai duck) pickle and fugu yas, and tons of sweets.

When I sat in front of the TV gobbling it all up I saw on VH1, Elle's song, Ex's and Oh's, and I do believe her when she sings, "Am the best ex - they come back to me, over mountains and seas cause I am the best'. Totally girl, I agree with you 100 per cent, 'cause I saw a couple of my exes at these fairs, and all they did was want to come back to me. All I wanted to do was to take off my shoes and fling it at them, for all they put me through. But just to think they all want me back - wow, how good am I!
