On the second day of her visit to Ajmer, chief minister Vasundhara Raje reached Pushkar for ‘CM Jan Samwad’ program while holding dialogues with the representations of various castes and heard their grievances and issues. Like Kishangarh, she doled out many sops to the region including the development of Pushkar temple on the line of Akshardham temple.

“Pushkar will be developed on the like of Akshardham temple. Our government is also working to beautify Pushkar Lake’s Ghats (series of steps towards the lake) and get rid of the drainage water,” said a statement released on the behalf of Raje.

As by-election in Ajmer parliamentary is due after the death of Sanwar Lal Jat, the CM is leaving no stone unturned to reconcile with the communities which are reportedly unhappy with the government. A day after holding talks with Rajput community leaders in Kishangarh, the CM held one to one interaction with the selected representatives of Dalit community which plays an important role to decide the very parliamentary seat.

Addressing to the community leaders, Raje spoke that her government is committed to the welfare of Dalits. “Dalit made the nation proud. Today the nation’s highest post, the president is occupied by Ramnath Kovind while in the state, Kailash Meghwal heads the state assembly as speaker. This is a proud moment for Dalit,” said the statement quoting Raje.

Along with holding talks with community leaders, the CM was also seen disposing of public related issues which came into light during the trip. For instance, in Ararka village of Srinagar Panchayat Samiti, the CM, when told by the people of the water problem, has instructed to make a water tank sanctioning Rs 80 lakh on the spot.
