Stray panther released in Machia Safari Park

The team of Jodhpur forest department finally got success when it tranquillized the panther and brought it to Jodhpur on Thursday.

A panther injured five people after it strayed into Dhakon ka Tala village in Navatala Rathodan in Barmer on Wednesday. The team of Jodhpur forest department finally got success when it tranquillized the panther and brought it to Jodhpur on Thursday. 

It was released here in Machia Safari Park. A huge crowd of villagers gathered during the capture of panther. The injured were treated at Dhorimanna. 

Three people, in serious condition, were referred to Barmer  When the villagers saw the panther, they reported to the Forest Department. On Wednesday evening, at around four o’clock, the team of forest department from Jodhpur reached Navatala Rathodan. 

Shooter Dr Shravansingh Rathod aimed at the panther by tranquilizer gun and panther felt unconscious. It was brought to Dhormanna forest department office in cage first and after that the team brought it to Jodhpur.
