Raje to repeat Dholpur success story in Ajmer & Alwar

With assembly election due next year, these by-polls are considered popularity barometer for the government as well as a reality check for the opposition congress.

Not taking any chance, chief minister Vasundhara Raje is going to replicate the strategy she adopted in Dholpur by-election. She has constituted two separate teams to handle the campaign for Ajmer and Alwar Lok Sabha constituencies from where the Congress is expected to field two heavyweights in form of Sachin Pilot and Bhanwar Jitendra Singh.

With assembly election due next year, these by-polls are considered popularity barometer for the government as well as a reality check for the opposition congress. The outcome will be crucial for chief minister’s mission of 180. Led by chief minister Vasundhara Raje herself, the BJP is battle ready. The CM who has been given complete freehand accordingly her team of loyalists has been entrusted the task of managing the election campaign. Each team consists of half a dozen cabinet ministers in addition to party officials for each and every assembly segment within the parliamentary constituency.

In Alwar team, Dr. Jaswant Yadav and Rajpal Singh will focus on Behror while Hem Singh Bhadana will look after Tijara along with O P Mahindra. Another minister, Dr. Ram Pratap has been made in charge of Kishangarh bas and Akhil Shukla will help him whereas Rohitash Sharma and Hariram Rinwa have the task of Mundawar. Gajendra Singh Khimsar and Oinkesh Porwal in Ramgarh, Srichand Kriplani and Ramkishore Meena in Rajgarh, Surendra Pal Singh TT and Kashiram Godara in Alwar rural and Arun Chaturvesi and DD Kumawat in Alwar city will oversee the campaign.

Raje herself will tour Alwar from October 24 to 31.

Similarly, in Ajmer each minister is accompanied by a party official for every assembly seat. Rajendra Singh Rathore and Lakshmi Narayan Dave in Masuda, Kalicharan Saraf with Harihar Pareek in Kishangarh, Babulal Verma and Abhishek Matoria in Kekri, Yunus Khan along with Mukesh Dadhich in Pushkar, Ajay Singh Kilak and Bhajan Lal Sharma in dudu, Kali Charan Saraf with B P Saraswat in Naseerabad, Rajkumar Rinwa and Meghraj Lohia in Ajmer North have been given the responsibility to manage he campaign.

Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and state party president Ashok Parnami will also regularly visit and take feedback. The CM will have one to one interaction with party workers. she may even hold road shows in both the constituencies.
