How come nursing employees recruited through placement agency are being paid eight time less salary than regular employees?

The question has been asked by Rajasthan high court while issuing notices to principal secretary health education, superintendent and dean of Jhalawar medical college along with one more person. The court has also directed them not to take action against them.

Justice Ashok Gaur issued order while hearing petition of Naresh Kumar Dangi and 131 others. Their lawyer Tanveer Ahmed told the court that regular nursing employee is getting Rs 52000 and the one recruited directly on contract basis is getting Rs 33000 while the petitioners who were recruited through placement agency are getting only Rs 6265. They claimed that despite same nature of work conditions, all three are getting different wages. They also feared that because of demanding same wages, action might be taken against them.
