The question hour on Tuesday again saw senior BJP legislator, Ghanshyam Tiwari confronting Parliamentary Affairs Minister Rajendra Rathore and Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria. Tiwari raised the question of employment in the zero hour. During this, Rathore stood up and asked Tiwari “why don’t you say that you are against reservation”. In reply, Tiwari said that for the first time in the Assembly, we brought the reservation proposal. There was a debate between the two on this. The Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly calmed him down. Meanwhile, not satisfied with the reply of the Home Minister, Tiwari said that all the figures are fake. Kataria said that if the figure is fake, then any member can take to privilege motion.

Bhadel shares Anganwadi woes

Shortage of land in urban areas is affecting establishments of Anganwadi centres and the urban bodies concerned have failed in providing land for the centres. This information was given by the Minister of State for Women and Child Development, Anita Bhadel, in the Assembly on Tuesday.

BJP legislator, Sandeep Sharma accused of not providing facilities and not getting emergency services despite taking a toll on National Highway. On this, PWD Minister, Yunus Khan replied that the state government has no direct control over the national highway. Still, write a letter to the central government on this issue, he said. Responding to the question of BJP MLA Shankar Singh, Water Resources Minister Ram Pratap said that there are 9 dams and 5 feeders under the Water Resources Department in Beawar assembly constituency, out of which 9 dams and 3 feeder works are complete and the remaining 2 feeders remain incomplete. On this, Shankar Singh alleged that the authorities have given a wrong report.

Of dharna, ‘Nautanki’

Nasirabad legislator, Ramnarayan Gurjar sat on dharna in the well on demand for fair investigation in the Carnos incident. Assembly Speaker, Kailash Meghwal instructed him to go to his seat stating that your complaint will be sent to the state government. After this Gurjar got up from the dharna and sat on his seat. In the meantime, Jogaram Patel used the word “Nautanki”while commenting . There was a debate in ruling and opposition on this. The leader of Opposition Rameshwar Dudi stood to speak, the government’s deputy chief-whip Madan Rathore said that for the first time in the history of the state, the LoP was absent in the Governor’s address.
