NWR says ‘Hello happiness’ to staff

NWR has decided to embrace “Hello Happiness” for the betterment of the employees and to improve the working conditions. 

To do this, amongst many other steps, NWR’s General Manager TP Singh has given the suggestion which is for family accommodation at desert places on lines of the army, which is under consideration , in NWR cash awards are already being given to the employees, informed the sources.

Sources informed that Singh who was speaking at a seminar titled “Sankalp, Samanvit aur Samvad” which was organised by Ministry of Railways, held at New Delhi where he gave several suggestions for the betterment of employees of railways.

Notably, large number of railway employees work at places which are away from their homes. For example, if a person is posted at Munabao, children are not getting any place to study, so he is put to inconvenience.

As such Singh suggested that at big places, they get family accommodation informed the sources. He also said that the efforts are also being made to assign the jobs to the people as per their aptitude. Sources informed that the whole idea is to make the staff happy.

INCENTIVES

Singh also spoke about the giving incentives tot he employees to awards good performance. .In NWR cash awards are already being given to the employees.
