This parliamentary party meeting was different. Not only the venue but the flavour was also different. The meeting which would generally take place at the Parliament's library building or the Parliament Annexe was held at the newly constructed party headquarters at Deendayal Upadhyay Marg. The Prime Minister Narendra Modi and party president Amit Shah on Friday held session on Mission-2019. All the party MPs present were provided a draft for victory in next parliamentary elections. Holding election management a 'science', Modi explained on the fine details of 'prepping' the worker, while Shah conveyed on 'strengthening' the booth side.

Modi stressed on power of party worker and said that each worker should be well prepared and informed on government schemes before being sent in public for convincing voters. He asked all the MPs to select nearly 2000 such party workers in their constituency and put them at campaigning in a planned manner. Proposing the party workers to be flag bearer for development schemes of the government, the PM said that it will only be 'work' and not 'words' that will win elections.

Earlier at the session, party president Amit Shah laid focus on booth and district level management. He asked the party MPs to prepare a detail record of all booths in their respective constituency including information of social-politically active residents in the area. He said that each MP should add at-least 20 workers on every booth. Motivating the party MPs, Shah guided them to reach out to worker and voter at constituency and virtual reality.

Covering the 'virtual' divide.

Importance of social media in propagating government achievement and plans got emphasised during the session at BJP headquarters. However, it was found that 43 of the party MP do not hold a 'facebook' account while 77 did not have their accounts verified. The parliamentarians were asked to stay active on the virtual ground and utilize the social media for increasing connect with people and promoting public welfare schemes.
