The Railway administration had cancelled 15 trains of North-Western Railway and five trains of Central Railway as part of its efforts to streamline rail traffic following the chakka jam by Jats in Bharatpur district.

Meanwhile, as Jat agitators have also blocked road routes in Bharatpur, the Rajasthan Roadways has also cancelled operation of many buses on various routes. Due to road blocks by agitators, not a single bus could come out of the Bharatpur Roadway bus stand and none of the buses could enter the city on the second day of  Jat agitation on Friday.

North-Western Railway chief public relations officer Tarun Jain has said that Jaipur-Lucknow train was cancelled on Friday morning and Lucknow-Jaipur train stands cancelled on Saturday. Train number 12404 Jaipur-Allahabad which was scheduled to depart from Jaipur on Friday would start from Mathura station and thus the train has been partially cancelled as it would not run between Jaipur and Mathura stations. Earlier, this train was completely cancelled.

Train number 54461 Bandikui-Bareilly, scheduled to depart from Bandikui on Friday would start from Agra Fort. In other words, the train has been partially cancelled between Bandikui and Agra Fort stations. This train was also completely cancelled earlier.

Jain also informed that Train number 14865 Varanasi-Jodhpur which departed from Varanasi on June 22 would take the Bayana-Gangapur City-Sawai Madhopur-Jaipur route to reach its destination. On the other hand, train number 12963 Nizammudin Udaipur and train number 12964 Udaipur-Nizammudin have been cancelled.

Routes of around a dozen other trains have been changed. These include train number 15269 Muzaffarpur-Ahmedabad, train number 19665 Khajuraho-Udaipur, Howrah-Jodhpur and others.
