After health minister Kalicharan Saraf’s intervention health department has finally taken action against ‘Paan Bahar’ on Tuesday. Various teams of the health department conducted raids at many places, collected samples and seized consignments.

Till now reluctant health officials swung into action after being pulled up by the health minister. Nearly half a dozen places were raided and consignments were seized.  The department has also begun tightening noose on the manufacturing company and asked it to withdraw the stock in which presence of dangerous substances was found. Meanwhile, the shopkeepers too are now shying from keeping the product.

  • 2 samples of 3 and 5 grams from Balaji trading company Ramganj. 77 packets seized.
     
  • Vijayvargiya store Bagru walo ka rasta 20 gram packet for sample and 32 oackets seized.
     
  • Four shops at Tonk Phatak but no stock found. The dept has also begun tightening noose on the mfg company
