Four bills to be passed on March 7

There won’t be any sitting of assembly between March 1 and March 4 and on March 5 , grant demands of social justice and welfare, tribal area development and related demands will be discussed and passed.

The state government is preparing to get four important bills passed on March 7 leaving much to imagination about the time which will be spared to discuss these bills.

In the business advisory committee (BAC) meeting which was held on Tuesday, it was decided that while the budget will be passed on March 6, bills like the Rajasthan Backward Classes (Reservation of Seats in Educational Institutions in the State and of Appointments and Posts in Services Under the State) (Amendment) Bill, 2018, the Rajasthan Land Laws Repealing Bill, 2018,  and the Code of Criminal Procedure (Rajasthan Amendment) Bill, 2017, will be passed on March 7. The Rajasthan Apartment Ownership Bill which was returned by the governor will also be discussed and passed on the same day. In earlier meeting of BAC on February 12 the schedule till March 6 was only given.

There won’t be any sitting of assembly between March 1 and March 4 and on March 5 , grant demands of social justice and welfare, tribal area development and related demands will be discussed and passed. Earlier, they were to be discussed on February 21 but the assembly was adjourned due to demise of MLA Kalyan SIngh.
