The Romanian Nationals arrested from Delhi by the Jaipur Commissionerate police in connection with ATM card skimming and cloning are full of surprises. The sleuths investigating the matter have been taken aback by the sheer knowledge of how the investigating agencies across the world function. Moreover, highly placed sources inform that the men even tried to barter deals with cops promising to provide information on other crimes committed on a grander scale by other gangs.
While investigating the matter further, sleuths came across various activities conducted by the trio. “Bogdan got a tattoo made in Jaipur on his hand. During their interrogation, the men even tried to bribe cops by claiming to provide information related to other crimes and tried to broke a deal,” a highly placed official informed. They have ideas as to how the FBI works or how some other agencies work during interrogation or how they apprehend a person. It appears that they understand or read a lot about the global system and looks like they had made strategic plans in case they get caught,” officials said.
However, inspite of the trio’s attempts at derailing and misguiding the cops, the khakhi clad men have got the better of them as they have managed to gather information from one cloned card which is a major breakthrough in the matter. “So far they were seen withdrawing money but there was not any physical evidence as the skimming devices did not give much details.
They were behind the crime as we managed to put together various pieces of the puzzle however we were still looking to get one major piece of evidence that is a breakthrough in the investigation,” sources said, adding further, “We have managed to find a clone card from which information about a victim from Jaipur has been recovered.
