A major crisis was averted due to the vigilance of track man when he saw a fracture in the railway track near Odhaniya chacha Village in Jaisalmer on Thursday.

Source’s informed that near Odhania chacha village trackman Damaram Meghwal found the fracture near the 210/9 track km.
He informed this to the officials of railways and as the train approached stopped it.
The work of repair of the track was started immediately and it was only after the work was completed, that the train was moved slowly from this area.
Notably, two trains had before passed from the same track early morning and it was by sunrise that the fracture of the track was noticed.
