Congress protest shows frustration: Prabhulal Saini

Agriculture Minister Prabhulal Saini has countered Congress agitation against the increase in fees in private schools. He said that opposing the increase in fees is the frustration of Congress. The Gehlot government did nothing to control the fee hike, while the BJP government had come up with the first private school Fees Act.

Saini was addressing press briefing at BJP headquarters on Tuesday. “Under the Fees Act, fees committee have been formed in 26,000 private schools that are taking decisions on the fee increase,”said Saini. On Jignesh Mewani, Saini said that some people wanted to disturb the law and order of the state, but the state government stopped it while taking immediate action on it.

On the question of withdrawing the registered cases of violence during the Bandh on April 2, he said that there is a definite process of taking back the case and only cases related to political agitation are withdrawn under it. On his departmental achievements, Saini told that all preparations for sowing Kharif this year are in place. This year, the target is to sow Kharif crop on 1, 59000 hectares of land. For this, arrangement of 8 lakh metric tonne seed, 3 lakh metric tonne DAP and 8 lakh metric tonne of urea were arranged.

Saini informed that Global Agritech Meets will be organised in Krishi University of Jodhpur on May 23-25 for the use of new technology and advanced equipment in agriculture.
