CM Vasundhara Raje orders party members to fight by-polls on Dholpur model

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will contest Alwar and Ajmer Lok Sabha and Mandalgarh Assembly by-elections on Dholpur model. The BJP’s organisation in-charge and minister in charge will remain in the allotted constituency for five days in a week till the polls are held in all the three by-electoral constituencies. Chief minister Vasundhara Raje instructed the same during the meeting held on Friday at the BJP state headquarters.

The meeting was held to chalk out a blueprint for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s proposed Rajasthan tour and for by-polls preparations.The by-elections in the Ajmer and Alwar Lok Sabha constituency and Mandalgarh Assembly constituency will be held on January 29. Nearly 17 Assembly constituencies are connected with these parliamentary seats. In the wake of these events, BJP has appointed ministers as election in-charge and organisation officers in each Assembly constituency.

During the meeting, Raje instructed all the in-charge minister and organisation officials to remain in the Assembly for five days in a week till the completion of the by-elections. During this period, they will meet with booth and the mandal executives and create an environment favourable for the BJP. CM Raje said that the in-charge minister and organisation officer should work in his own Assembly constituency for the remaining two days of the week. During the meeting, BJP state president Ashok Parnami said that the state election committee has sent a panel of probable three candidates for the by-elections to the parliamentary board.
