CM lauds the contribution of ‘Game Changers’

The chief minister sought continued support of the officers in taking the state further on development path and asked the officers to work for the 'betterment of the financially and socially backward'.

It was a usual annual convention of Rajasthan Administrative Officers (RAS) Association with an unusual vigour. The Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje was all praise for administrative officers when she called them ‘Game Changers’ redefining the scenario of the state, while inaugurating the convention.

She appreciated the contribution of officers towards the development of the state.

"Rajasthan has come a long way in “Rajasthan’s development. Other states are adopting our innovations. It all has been possible because of commendable services of our officers," she said.

The chief minister sought continued support of the officers in taking the state further on development path and asked the officers to work for the 'betterment of the financially and socially backward'. She also acknowledge the challenges faced by the officials.

"There are challenges, but a good administrator rises above them and provides solution. The officers thus also must spend more time in field and become the last destination of public grievances," she said.

Presiding over the convention, the chief secretary NC Goel also praised the contribution of RAS officers. He asked the officers to continue with the good work and make further efforts to ensure that flagship schemes of government are efficiently implemented.

"It’s your collective efforts that add momentum to government schemes and thus the officers must strive to ensure that the subsidies and relief funds issued reach to the beneficiaries soon as possible," said Goel.

The president of RAS Association Pawan Arora extended his gratitude towards the chief minister for her efforts for enrichment of RAS cadre which opened up promotion avenues.

"An officer works for promotion and it has been during the tenure of the chief minister that officers have been promoted from RAS to IAS cadre for subsequent years," he said as the representative of all RAS officers.

Lifetime membership of RAS Club

The Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje appreciated the designing of RAS Club brochure terming it a top corporate brochure. As an honour, the RAS Association extended lifetime membership to the chief minister Vasundhara Raje. The lifetime membership was also extended to the chief secretary NC Goel, DOP secretary Bhaskar A Sawant and joint secretary Arvind Poswal.
