She strictly directed the officials to ensure completion of projects of the government announced during Suraj Sankalp Yatra, Suraj Sankalp Patra and the state budget. Helpline call centre at 181 has started disposing public grievances and CM asked the officials to sort out them on priority.
"The work that I can do, why can’t you,” CM Raje asked the officials and that she could reach villages and see their problems, why they couldn't.
She asked the officials to come out of the AC rooms and visit the areas and promptly sort out public problems on priority. Raje directed that 22 to 24 hours of domestic power supply to the people must be ensured.
Minister in charge of Bundi district and state UDH minister Richardson Kriplani, food and supplies minister Babulal Verma, local MP Om Birla, Subash Bahediya, MLA Ashok Dogera, district party president Mahipat Singh were also present during the meeting with district level officers.
APO to ACF Gupta, taking a serious note of carelessness in developmental projects, chief minister Vasundhara Raje, in the meeting immediately ordered the senior officials of forest department to send Assistant Conservator of Forest (ACF) Ghanshyam Gupta to APO.
WORK OF CRORES
Meanwhile, speaking to the media persons, state UDH minister Srichand Kriplani said the announcements for developmental projects by CM Raje for the district under ‘Aap Ka Zila App ki Sarkar’, have been postponed as Shradh Paksh is going on.
The minister in charge, however, told that developmental works worth Rs3,572 have been completed in Bundi district in last three years.
Maximum works of Rs. 926 crores for road maintenance and construction by PWD are underway in the district, he said.
CM Raje kicked off the concluding day with the visit to Rani Ji Ki Bawari (stepwell), a world-famous site of architectural magnificence in Bundi city.
She here stressed the need for protecting and conserving the sites of historical and cultural significance.
NO HEARING LEADS TO DISAPPOINTMENT
Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje ended her three-day tour to Bundi district under Aap Ka Zila Aap Ki Sarkar on Saturday without any public interaction. The CM remained at the hotel and district collectorate under the cordon of security and no person with a memorandum or problem was allowed to step.
However, the CM during a surprise visit on the second day of her tour on Friday held open interaction with villagers and heard them but these visits were limited to only one route of the district.
“I wanted to speak to CM and submit my application for the allotment of a kiosk by the government that has been lying halted since 2006 and nobody is listening to me,” said Shankar Lal, a worker at medico shop.
“I am very disappointed to know that no public hearing programme or public interaction was scheduled during the three-day CM tour, he said.
The ASHA workers, who were seeking an appointment with CM Raje to submit a memorandum and staging a dharna on road outside Bundi bus stand were today packed inside the Red Cross building from early morning to late evening.
“About 50 to 60 ASHA workers, who were protesting peacefully for our demands were on the pretext of arranging a meeting with CM, were called at Red Cross building and the police locked the gates,” said Rekha Verma, district president, ASHA Zila Sangh.
The women were forced to stay without food and water from early morning to late in the evening, she said.
The CM, however, on the second day of her visit on Friday evening held interaction with prominent persons of the district including CA's, doctors, advocates and social activists and got the feedback on public sentiments, government schemes and developmental works but this included only the elite class not the common man.
Similarly, over two dozen flower sellers on the front side of Rani Ji Ki Bawari and roadside hawkers were not allowed to do business for two days because of CM’s visit at the site.
