Balotra tank collapse kills three workers

Three labourers died due to the demolition of a tank in a factory while three labourers were seriously injured in the industrial area of Balotra on Tuesday. The injured have been admitted to the Nahata Hospital, where they are being treated.

About half a dozen labourers were working during the construction of a tank. At around one o’clock in the afternoon, the under-construction tank collapsed in which the working workers got buried in the debris tank.

As soon as the incident was reported, the police reached the spot and relief work was started with the help of local people. Dhanraj Sansi, Shankar Sansi, and Bhakhar Ram Meghwal died on the spot while Balaram, Feroz Khan, and Dhanaram were seriously injured and their treatment is going on in the hospital.

After the incident, there was a panic in the hospital and all the social organizations came forward for help. Minister of State for Revenue Amraram Choudhary reached the spot. He reviewed the relief work and gave calm courage to the relatives.
