A day after Yogi Adityanath was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, several photoshopped tweets showing the US President Donald Trump (@POTUS) congratulating him have taken social media by storm.
Apart from the controversies that Adityanath has brought back to the forth by his selection for the CM's post, he was also compared to Hollywood star Vin Diesel on Sunday because of their similar looks, including a shaved head. Now, people are sharing Trump's fake tweets, where he calls Adityanath his 'bro' and 'a great leader'.
One of the tweets read, "Yogi is like my younger bro. A great leader. Like I'm leading US, he'll lead UP. UP me rehna hai to Yogi Yogi Kehna hai."
"My heartiest Congratulations to Yogi Adityanath with a hashtag #Mandirvahibanayenge," reads another tweet.
Adityanath, a five-time Lok Sabha MP from Gorakhpur, was unanimously elected as the BJP Legislature Party leader at a meeting of the newly-elected MLAs in Lucknow on Saturday evening, and on Sunday Governor Ram Naik administered the oath of office and secrecy to Adityanath and his Cabinet.

Earlier in January, Adityanth had applauded Trump's controversial immigration order that bans travellers from seven Muslim-majority countries, and stressed on the need for such action in India to contain terrorism. Addressing an election rally, he had said, "Similar action is needed to contain terror activities in this country."
