Watch: MP BJP MLA mocks farmers, says only those who 'eat up subsidies' die

BJP Madhya Pradesh MLA Rameshwar Sharma on Friday mocked the plight of farmers in the country by saying that only those who "eat up subsidies" die.

In his rant against the farmers, he said that if farmers did farm honestly, they would not be committing suicide. Only those usurp government subsidies are driven to take such an extreme step.

Sharma said, "Mare vo kisaan hain jo kisaan kum aur subsidy chaatne ka vyapaar zyada karte hain."
