Vineeth, who services from the Accountant General's Office here were terminated owing to lack of attendance, met the minister personally and sought employment.

The player later told a television channel that he was awaiting the government's decision.

In the order issued by the AG's Office it has been stated that Vineeth's services had been terminated with effect from May 7, 2016 under Rule 5 of central civil services (temporary service) rules, and consolidated instructions on probation/confirmation in central services.
