Two held with illegal arms at Indo-Nepal border in UP

Sashastra Sima Bal (SSB) officials today nabbed today two persons for possessing arms and ammunition illegally at the Belrayan railway crossing along the India-Nepal border.

Rashid Ahmad and Ramij Ahmad were arrested and an Italy-manufactured pistol, its magazine and two cartridges were recovered from them in Tikonia area, SSB said here.

The two men were arrested after they failed to show any valid license for the arms. They were handed over to the police and investigation in this connection is underway, it said.
