Three BTech Students from IIT-Kanpur become first to finish course in just 3 years

Three Btech students from IIT Kanpur have made the institute proud by completing their course in just  three and a half years than its stipulated period of four years, reports TOI. They finished the entire course in just seven semesters than eight. 

Two students from BTech+MTech Dual degree course also finished their course in nine semesters out of ten. The students completed the course in less than its duration of five years. But these students will get their degree only during the convocation ceremony which takes place next year.

The students were praised during  a meeting of the IIT-Kanpur senate which was chaired by the Director Prof Indranil Manna. The senate was also overjoyed to know that 100 students scored 10 on 10 in Semester Performance Index (SPI score).
