Thane: Woman throws her children off 15th floor, then jumps to death

In a horrific incident, a woman from Mumbra, Thane, threw both her kids off the 15th floor of a building and then jumped to her death, reports India Today.

The woman, identified as Shirin Khan, threw her five-year-old daughter Armin and her seven-year-old son Tausif off the building before jumping to death herself. Fortunately, her son survived the fall but is in a serious condition. He has been admitted for treatment in a south Mumbai hospital.

Khan and her daughter died on the spot.

According to the police, Shirin and her husband Hanif always had fights, but on Sunday, after the quarrel she left home with her two kids. She then went to a building on the pretext of buying an apartment and went to the 15th floor to commit the act.

The police has filed an ADR case.
