SR General Manager inspects Kozhikode-Kannur section

Southern Railway General Manager Vashishta Johri, accompanied by a team of officers, today conducted the annual inspection of Kozhikode Kannur section of Palakkad Division.

The purpose of the inspection is to check the safety and effectiveness of the railway assets involved in train operations, a release said.

During the visit the tracks, bridges, level crossings, stations in the section were inspected.

Johri who made stop overs at Vadakara, Thalassery and Kannur stations and also inspected passenger facilities and staff amenities implemented in the stations, the release said
