Rajasthan Transport minister Yunus Khan today said separate space will be provided for buses running under Lok Parivahan Sewa in the state in the next three months.

Replying to a question during the Question hour in the assembly, the minister said the operators were roped in to run buses under the Lok Parivahan Sewa (LSP) in 2015 December.

He said it was initially decided that the buses under LPS would be run from the state roadways bus stands but it led to resistance from the roadways employees.

Incidents of clashes were reported from different parts of the state so this arrangement was withdrawn and now it has been decided that separate space will be allotted for the LPS buses in next three months, he said.

The minister was replying to the question raised by BJP MLA Shankar Singh who said that a scuffle had broken out between the roadways employees and the operators under LPS at Beawar bus stand in Ajmer district.

Khan, while referring to the FIRs lodged in the matter, said that the incident occurred outside the bus stand.

Intervening in the matter, Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria said that he will get it probed again by an additional SP to confirm if the scuffle had taken place.

Mines Minister Surendra Pal Singh replied to a question related with bajri mining and informed the house that in the last three years, 3,209 cases of illegal bajri mining have been caught and 258 FIRs were registered in the state.

He also assured the house to form a joint team of district administration, mines department and police to look into the complaint of illegal mining in Rajsamand district.

NPP MLA Kirori Meena cornered the government over the issues of farmers saying the government has made no arrangement for the procurement of mustard in the state.

When the Speaker did not allow him to speak, he created uproar which was supported by Congress whip Govind Singh Dotasara.

During the zero hour, Kataria said that the police department was strict to curb crime in the state.

Intervening in a debate, the minister said that cases of theft had increased in the district of Nagaur and recovery is comparatively low.

The house also paid condolence to former Speaker of Lok Sabha Rabi Ray who recently passed away.
