A fast track court has ordered registration of a case against three persons including a former SHO and assistant salex tax commissioner for fabricating the dying declaration of a 25-year-old woman here.

Additional District Judge Vivekanand Sharan Tripathi yesterday ordered registration of a case against three persons, including the then SHO, the then SDM of Delhi and the uncle of the deceased, Assistant District Government Council (ADGC) Praveen Kumar said.

"Register a case against the then SDM of Delhi, Vinod Kumar and then SHO Indraprastha Delhi, Kunvar Sahab Singh under IPC section 193 (punishment for false evidence)," the judge said while passing the order.

Disclosing details of the fabrication made, Kumar said the then SHO Kunvar Sahab Singh, at the behest of present Assistant Commissioner Sales Tax ITO Delhi, Vinod Kumar, not only wrote dying declaration of Aarti on June 26, 2013 but also used thumb impression of her hand and feet.

He said the worst part of it was that though manipulation in dying declaration was made on June 26, the date mentioned in the dying declaration was June 17, 2013.

The foul game of the then SDM and SHO came to surface, after a statement of the doctor who had performed post-mortem, confirming that thumb impression was taken after the death of the woman.

The deceased's uncle Kishan Singh, in his FIR, had alleged that his niece was burnt by her in-laws on June 16, 2013 by pouring kerosene on her body, for want of dowry.

The ADGC said the contradictory statement of Singh confirmed the foul play.

The judge, however, on the basis of above facts, has acquitted the deceased's husband Santosh, mother-in-law Ram Dulari, father-in-law Balbir and sister-in-law Subina who hitherto had been in prison for the last three years.

According to prosecution, Aarti got married to Santosh in 2010.

She was first taken to Bharatpur and then to Delhi for treatment. She succumbed to her injuries on June 26, 2013.
