Denying reports of a woman police inspector of the state crime branch being molested by two government advocates inside a lift in Orissa High Court, its Bar Association today claimed that no such incident had happened on Tuesday as alleged by the complainant.

"We have verified all the CCTV cameras installed inside the High Court and no such footage of the day corroborates the allegations made by the woman police officer," High Court Bar Association secretary Umesh Chandra Beura said.

He said the Association has already brought this to the notice of Chief Justice of the High Court and state Advocate General.

Meanwhile, police have recorded statement of the complainant before the magistrate under Section 164 of CrPC after registering a case in this connection on Thursday.

The police have made a requisition before the High Court registry to obtain the CCTV footages after the city DCP Sanjiv Arora met the AG Suryaprasad Mishra, sources said.

Police have registered the case and booked the two advocates after a written complaint of the crime branch inspector was forwarded to the DSP.

As per the complaint, the woman inspector had gone to the High Court for official work on February 7 and while returning, she was molested in the High Court lift.
