Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik today attended a screening of 'Ek Thi Rani Aisi Bhi', a Hindi film based on the life of veteran BJP leader Vijaya Raje Scindia, popularly known as the Rajmata of Gwalior.
Naik and Goa Governor Mridula Sinha, the writer of the book on which the film is based, were present during its screening at a theatre in a city mall this evening, a Raj Bhawan source said.
Sinha is currently on a visit to the state capital, the source added.
'Ek Thi Rani Aisi Bhi', starring Hema Malini, who portrays the role of Scindia, is based on the BJP leader's biography written by Sinha, titled 'Rajpath se Lokhpath par', which traces the erstwhile royal family member's journey from the palace to the public.
