Muzaffarnagar: Two fingers of ITBP jawan chopped off following scuffle

In a shocking incident late Sunday night, an ITBP jawan lost two fingers following a drunken brawl with a group of men in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh. 

ITBP Jawan, Babu Ram was highly intoxicated when he reached the local police station to lodge complaint, according to a Times of India report.  The report quotes station incharge of Budhana police station as saying, "Around 11:30 pm, Babu Ram came to police station with blood oozing out from his fingers. The upper portion of his index finger had been completely chopped off while a portion of middle finger was still slightly attached." 

The violent clash happened between Babu Ram and three unidentified assailants near a liquor shop in the city. Currently police is conducting raids to track down the criminals.
