Thousands of Harbour line commuters in Mumbai had a torrid time during evening peak hours after a Vashi - Vadala Up local was detained on near Raoli junction from 7:12pm to 8:22pm after the train jumped a signal, a situation called Signal Passed At Danger (SPAD) .

A SPAD is considered an offence just below a full-fledged train accident and the motormen involved in such incidents can be subject to dismissal from service. Because of this 16 services were cancelled and services are running by 20 to 25 minutes on Harbour line, said Central Railway officials.
