United Jihad Council (UJC), an umbrella group of over a dozen militants outfits based in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) has lambasted Pakistan for welcoming union home minister Rajnath Singh and called for snapping diplomatic ties with New Delhi.

"It is really painful for people of Kashmir that Pakistan will welcome Indian Home Minister who is scheduled to visit the country on August 3. Visit of Home Minister of India will have negative impact on the ongoing freedom struggle in Kashmir. His visit will only rub salt on the wounds of Kashmiri people", a local news agency quoting UJC Chief Syed Salahudin said.

Salahudin noted that instead of welcoming Singh, Pakistan should have snapped all ties with India.

"This would have helped the people of Kashmir and Kashmir cause", he said.UJC chief said the sacrifice of Burhan Wani has united the whole nation and now it is their responsibility to take this struggle to logical conclusion.

"Time has come that we socially boycott all those pro-India elements who shed crocodile tears and depict phony sympathies with the families of the martyrs," he said. Salahudin alleged that New Delhi has availed the services of scores of anti-Kashmir agents to sabotage the ongoing movement in Kashmir. "The agencies will throw money to buy the people's sentiments but we have to defeat their plans and carry on the mission of our martyrs," he said.
