He said 12 to 13 MLAs from the southern region of the state were part of the discussions held here yesterday.
"The legislators discussed how to bring further improvement in the system... south Haryana has lagged behind in development under previous regimes. The present government should do more so that the area witnesses good development," Kapriwas told reporters on the sidelines of the State Assembly's Budget session that started today.
On being asked if he or any of the party MLAs aired some grievance against their own government in the meeting, the BJP leader said, "The Chief Minister is an honest person who is committed to set the system right. We have no grievance as such, our only concern is that we want further improvement in the system."
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar while interacting with reporters after the Assembly session said he had been to Mahendergarh and other places in south Haryana recently.
"Their too such issues (pertaining to development) were discussed," he said.
On being asked if there was any kind of resentment among the MLAs from south Haryana, Khattar said, "No, there is no such thing...the party is united."
"Each particular area has its own unique problems faced by the people. That (southern Haryana) area is facing some water problem, especially when there has been less inflow from Yamuna river," the Chief Minister said.
To remove the drinking water and irrigation problem, the government is trying to solve it with other means, he said, adding a Rs 143 crore lift irrigation scheme has been launched.
On Opposition parties accusing the government of "mishandling" the Jat stir issue and not showing enough seriousness to solve it, Khattar said, "The way we are serious about this issue, had they (Congress) shown such seriousness during their time such a situation would not have arisen. They are only trying to politicise it."
