According to a Cidco official, the TTD board chairman Chandalwada Krishnamurthy and executive officer D Sambasiva Rao had met Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in April to this end.

The City and Industrial Development Corporation (Cidco) has allotted 2.4 acres land at Belapur in Navi Mumbai to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) for construction of a Lord Venkateswara Swamy temple. Its board approved the direct allotment of two plots at Parsik Hill, Belapur.
According to a Cidco official, the TTD board chairman Chandalwada Krishnamurthy and executive officer D Sambasiva Rao had met Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in April to this end.
“They presented him a letter of representation from AP Chief Minister,” said an official.
Early this month, Cidco board allocated two plots of 1900 and 2900 sq metre for the temple.
