Two days after the Indian Army gunned down five militants in a major infiltration bid in Uri sector of Jammu and Kashmir, the pictures of slain militants and weapons recovered from them have been released.

The terrorists were killed during a counter-infiltration operation was going on in Uri since Thursday after the troops observed movement of militants trying to sneak into the valley from across the border.

The soldiers engaged the infiltrators, resulting in an encounter in which five militants.

For the last four days, Indian Army is battling highly entrenched terrorists on the high altitude areas along the Line of Control (LoC) to foil Pakistan's designs to foment trouble in the holy month of Ramzan.
