A joint operation by the police and 22nd regiment of Rajputana Rifles led to the arrest of the militant.

A Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT) militant was arrested from Sopore township of north Kashmir's Baramulla district last night.
Umar Khaliq Mir, a local, was arrested from Tujjar area of Sopore after security forces launched a search operation following specific inputs, a police official said today.
He said Mir has been taken into custody and lodged at Sopore police station.

He was apprehended in a joint operation by the police and 22nd regiment of Rajputana Rifles, reports The Financial Express.
Arms and ammunitions such as AK rifles and grenades have been seized from him.
In September, 20 Indian Army jawans were killed and 19 others were injured in the Uri terror strike in which four terrorists were neutralised.
