Indrani Mukerjea told me she was molested by her step-father: Vir Sanghvi

Journalist Vir Sanghvi, who was the CEO of INX Media has come out with a shocking claim. He claims that Indrani had told him that she was molested by her stepfather.

Sanghvi who worked with Indrani at INX Media, revealed the following in an interview with India Today. 

According to Sanghvi, Indrani claimed she was from a prosperous family in Assam and that after her father left her, her mother married her father's brother. She claimed that her stepfather molested her, which is the reason she left for Kolkata. 

Sanghvi also claimed that the Mukerjeas brought Sheena to parties and introduced her as Indrani's step-sister. When asked why he left INX Media, he said that the Mukerjeas had their 'own scripts'. He also claimed that the Mukerjeas were inflating the bills and sending false TRPs of News X to promoters.  It's important to note that Vir Sanghvi had a bitter falling out with the Mukerjeas when they worked together and left the organisation in a huff.
