Haj pilgrims to deposit 1st instalment by April

The provisionally selected Haj pilgrims for 2017 have been asked by the State Haj Committee to deposit an advance of Rs 81,000 as the first instalment by April 5, 2017, reported Kashmir Images.

As per the order, the selected pilgrims who fail to deposit the first instalment will face a cancellation of their provisional selection. "The payment can be deposited online on Haj Committee of India website (www.hajcommittee.gov.in) or can be sent to State Bank of India account number 32175020010 'FEE TYPE-25' or Union Bank of India account number 318702010406009," said the Executive Officer, State Haj Committee.

Pilgrims will be required to submit medical certificate as per proforma already hosted on the Haj Committee of India website or on State Haj Committee website (www.jkshc.com) along with the pay-in-slip by April 5.

Provisionally selected pilgrims of Jammu and Ladakh regions have been asked to deposit their medical certificates and the pay-in-slip at offices of the respective deputy commissioners by April 5, 2017.
