Day temperatures rose marginally in

most parts of Himachal Pradesh, with Una experiencing the

hottest day of the season with the mercury rising to 41.6

degrees Celsius.

Sundernagar registered a maximum temperature of 35.6

degrees Celsius, followed by Bhuntar 34 degrees Celsius, Nahan

33.9 degrees Celsius, Solan 33.6 degrees Celsius and

Dharamsala 32.6 degrees Celsius.

Shimla recorded a high of 27.3 degrees Celsius.

The minimum temperature rose 18.8 degrees Celsius in

Shimla, while Kalpa and Una recorded a low of 9.4 degree

and 20.2 18.8 degrees Celsius respectively.

The local MeT office has predicted thundershowers and

rains in mid and lower hills and rains or snow at isolated

places in the higher hills over the next six days.
