Sounding highly confident of the outcome of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections in favour of BJP, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the debate is now whether BJP will get two-third or three-fourth majority. "Never have elections gone one way like this... there had been no dearth in enthusiasm of voters in all the five phases... the question is not who will form the government but will it be a two-third or three-fourth majority for BJP," he said in an election rally.  “People have made BJP victorious in the 5 phases that took place, you only have to give us a bonus in the 6th and 7th phase,” said PM Modi said at a rally in Maharajganj.

On his political opponents and their fate at the hustings, Modi remarked, "Buaji (Mayawati) bhi gayee... bhatija (Akhilesh) aur bhatijey ka naya dost (Rahul) bhi gaya... nothing will be left behind. (Mayawati, Akhilesh and Rahul all would be swept away.) "

Alleging that there had been a tacit understanding between SP and BSP, Modi, while referring to various promises made by them during the poll campaign in the past, said no one kept the promise to take actions against the other.
"BSP used to say (in elections) it will expose SP, bring out their corruption, set up commissions and send all those found guilty of the wrongdoing to jail. But when they came to power, they only looked for the left over booty...," he said.

"During the next election, SP used to say we will look into the corruption of the previous government and promised action, but when they occupied the chair they looked for the 'Babus' who used to work for behanji and used to do the collection for her to fill her coffers... and this time they were used to fill the 'khazana' (treasure) of SP," he said.

"Had Akhileshji not promised to expose the corruption of Behenji (Mayawati) five years ago... had he not promised to bring back the looted money, did he send her to jail.. Behenji mauj kar rahi hai ki nahi (isn't Mayawati having a nice time) "...those committing corruption during the BSP rule have been promoted... this is the 'mili-bhagat' (collusion) of SP and BSP. Ek doorsey ko bacha letey hain... kahenge kuch bhi par karte wahi hai jisse tijori bharti ho (They save each other, say something but do only what fills their coffers," he said.

Modi urged the voters to rid the state of the trio - SP, BSP and Congress to change the fate of Uttar Pradesh. "Until then nothing good can be achieved... In these elections the youths, the farmers and the poor have understood that for changing the future it is essential to get rid of this 'tikdi' (trio)," he said.

"In these elections, neither the daagi (tainted) nor bagi (rebels) should be allowed to flourish and added that some rebels put up his picture to project that Modi was with them but people should understand who all are the alliance partners of the BJP," he said.

Seeking a clear mandate for his party, Modi said all-round development of the country is possible only if all the regions develop at the same pace.

Citing the example of a flourishing western region, he called for a mandate for forming a strong government so that no one can hinder or stall the development of the state and the country.

Referring to the state of affairs in the state, especially in the power sector, Modi said, "The Centre had electricity and was ready to give it at reasonable rates to Akhilesh government, but they have no concern for you." Referring to the development in Saifai, the native village of SP chief in Etawah, Modi said, "They have concern for Saifai, this is strange that SP government feels everyone is developed if Saifai is developed... if the family is benefited, all have been benefitted... this time it is such a 'jodi' (pair) that one is busy in Saifai and the other in 'haath ki safai' (magic).

He said if industry has to flourish in the state and more investments have to be brought, the anarchy here has to come to a halt and there should be check on rape, riots, murders and other crimes.

Modi said that on March 13, the state will celebrate "Vijay Holi" by forming majority government after results are out on March 11.
