Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday countered Prime Minister Narendra Modi's remarks in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha by posting a shayari on his twitter account.
In his speech in Lok Sabha, Modi accused the Congress of spending its time in power eulogising the Gandhi family at the cost of India's development, dubbed NPAs as the UPA government's "sin" and reeled out figures to rebuff opposition criticism on unemployment and other issues.
In his reply in the Lok Sabha and to a debate on the motion of thanks for the president's address, Modi alleged that lies were being spread to create a sense of disappointment among the middle class about his government.
Following which, the Congress President accused Modi of protecting those behind alleged corruption in the Rafale deal and said he needs to answer the country on questions posed to him on it and on farmers and jobs instead of making allegations in Parliament.
However, Rahul Gandhi continued to counter Modi on Twitter.
'Bahut Lambi thi 'saheb' ki bat, Sadan mein din ko bata diya raat', he posted.

According to Rahul Gandhi, the prime minister can talk against the Congress party at a public meeting, but not in Parliament where he needs to answer questions posed to him by the country.
"He is right in talking about the Congress party, but this is not the place to raise it. You can raise this issue at a public meeting, but not here. Here, you have to answer to the country. You are not to make accusations here...," Rahul said.
