Aarushi murder case: Allahabad High Court likely to pronounce judgment today
The Allahabad High Court is likely to pronounce its judgment in the sensational murder case of 14-year-old Aarushi Talwar today. The verdict will come four years after Aarushi's parents Rajesh and Nupur Talwar were convicted for the killing their only daughter. Aarushi's parents were sentenced to life after a court in Uttar Pradesh convicted them for the gruesome killings of their daughter and their domestic help Hemraj in 2013. Read our full story here

Manganiyar families flee village in fear
Around 20 Manganiyar families in Jaisalmer have been forced to leave their village after receiving threat followed by the killing of a family member who was also a folk singer. Now, nearly 80-100 members of these families from Dantal village of the district are living in Jaisalmer district headquarter at Rain Basera (shelter) run by Nagar Palika while some other families are living at their relatives’ house in Balad village. 7th Pay Commission: 7.58 lakh teachers to get Rs 10k-50k hike
In a decision which will be hailed by the teaching community, the Union cabinet has approved extension benefit of 7th Pay Commission to teachers of central and state universities and collegesunder the purview of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and in Centrally Funded Technical Institutions . In total, 7.58 lakh teachers and equivalent academic staffs will get benefits of 7th Pay Commission. HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar said that the decision has been taken to attract good talent to academics and also as a sense of justice for all the teachers who are currently in the profession. Pak wants normal ties with India, but it takes two to tango: Bajwa
Pakistan has shown "genuine desire" to have peaceful relations with its "belligerent" neighbour India but it takes two to tango, the country's Army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa said on Wednesday. Speaking at a seminar in Karachi on 'Interplay of Economy and Security', Gen Bajwa also said that Pakistan needed a comprehensive effort to pursue the National Action Plan and remove vulnerabilities well before they turn into threats.
