Exactly a fortnight after the Allahabad High Court acquitted Rajesh and Nupur Talwar for the murder of their only daughter Aarushi Talwar, the dentist couple finally broke their silence on Saturday.

In an almost 20-minute long interview released on Hotstar, the couple spoke about those moments when they heard that they would walk freed from the Dasna Jail in Ghaziabad.

'It was a very emotional moment for us, we were thinking about Aarushi at that time, were missing her,' mother Nupur spoke emotionally about the fateful day the verdict came.

In the video statement titled 'Unsolved Aarushi Murder: The Talwars Break Their Silence' available on the video streaming app and site, Rajesh Talwar talks about going back to the society. The dentist says 'it would be scary to face the world'.

The parents spoke about their 14-year-old daughter who was found murdered in a pool of blood inside her bedroom in Noida's Jalvayu Vihar.

'Losing Aarushi is completely irreparable, this void can't be filled in this lifetime people,' the parents said.

On biggest question that 'who killed Aarushi,' Nupur said 'God is the biggest judge'.

On their stay in the jail, they spoke about their struggle and their work as jail dentists. They said that the work helped them to cope with the situation.

'We just survived,' Talwars said. On their life after the October 12 acquittal, Talwars said that people's perception has changed.

Talking about an incident at the Golden Temple, where they went after the verdict, Rajesh Talwar said, 'a sevadar helped us.'

'He recognised us and allowed us to go without line...he said wrong has been done to you,'Rajesh Talwar said.

On the court's acquittal, they said that a wrong has been righted. 'It's almost like complete exoneration.'

On future life, Rajesh said that 'now we want to live with Aarushi's memories and work for her.'

Talking about Krishna, the compounder at their Noida clinic, Talwars said that they had very limited interaction with him.

However, they didn't say a word on 'who killed Hemraj', the domestic help, whose body was found on their flat's terrace two days after Aarushi's murder.

But Rajesh Talwar added, 'he (Hemraj) was working for us, he was a victim, I feel for him.'
