Seven persons, including four Indians, were arrested today for possessing 30 kg of hashish in Nepal's Makwanpur district, police said.

A team of Hetauda Armed Police Force (APF) arrested the four Indians and three Nepalis during a raid on a hotel in Hetauda, a sub-metropolitan city in southern Nepal's Makwanpur district, about 90 kilometres from the capital Kathmandu.

The 30 kg of hashish was packed in Dhading district in 30 separate plastic wraps when the APF team caught them with the contraband, Kathmandu Post reported.

The police said they have also confiscated one vehicle with Indian registration number, 6 mobile phones and 33,000 Indian rupees from the arrested persons.
