Ant-Man and the Wasp, one of the three superhero movies coming out of Marvel Studios in 2018, released their first trailer on Tuesday.
This time, Paul Rudd has a real companion in Evangeline Lilly who suits up as The Wasp/Hope van Dyne to Rudd's Ant-Man/Scott Lang. Michael Douglas' Hank Pym made a lot of upgrades to The Wasps costumes by giving her wings and blasters.
The story seems to revive after the events of Captain America: Civil War. Ant-Man/Scott Lang chose to side with Captain that made him sort of enemy of the State and landed him in prison before Iron Man/Tony Stark helped Team Captain to escape that high-security prison at the end of the movie.
Associating with Lang has Dyne and Pym on the run too. But surely the old gang will
find a way to handle it all.
And oh, Hello Kitty makes a guest appearance.
The 1.42 minutes long trailer showcases a lot of smart tricks by the shape-shifting superhero. For the first time we get to look at Laurence Fishburn and we can speculate that one of those white hands which Fishburne is looking at belongs to Michelle Pfeiffer.
